Summer Camp Staff 2025

Position Details:

• Type: Seasonal (June - August 2025), with possible extension into the school year. ​

• Training Dates: June 7 (9:30 am - 11:30 am) & June 13 (2:30 pm - 5:30 pm). ​

• Schedule: June 16 - August 29, 2025, between 7:30 am - 5:30 pm. ​

• Compensation: $15-$19/hour (based on experience). ​

Camp Info: ​

• Location: Athletic Club of Bend. ​

• Participants: 50 children weekly, ages 5.5 - 10.5 years. ​

• Hours: Camp runs 9 am - 3 pm (Monday-Friday). ​ Extended care: 7:45 am - 9 am (AM) & 3 pm - 5:15 pm (PM). ​

Job Duties:

• Lead or co-facilitate pre-planned activities. ​

• Create a welcoming environment and build relationships with children, parents, and staff. ​

• Support children in behavior management and positive decision-making. ​

• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards. ​

• Attend training and staff meetings. ​

• Communicate with the Program Director about challenges. ​

• Provide notice for absences (minimum 2 weeks). ​

Qualifications:

• CPR/First Aid Certification required before starting. ​

• Must pass a background check. ​

• Experience working with youth. ​

• Willingness to learn and work respectfully with diverse individuals. ​
