Summer Youth Camps 2024

Our staff is here to support a wonderful camp experience for your children and to maintain this we ask that you direct any questions to youth@athleticclubofbend.com.  If an immediate concern arises while your child is at camp, please call 541-385-3062 and they will be able to assist you in reaching the camp program. 


About: Summer camps with ACB are available for children ages 6-10 years old. Children must be in this age range by the first day of the camp they are participating in. Each camp will be Monday through Friday from 9:00am-3:00pm located on the Athletic Club of Bend campus. The exception is Week 1 due to the extended school year which will only be Wednesday - Friday. Registration includes the entire week; we have no half-day or single day options. Lunches and snacks are not provided, so please be sure to send these with your child. Currently, we are not offering before or after care. There will be no camp the week of July 4th. Each week of camp will have a different theme but will follow the same format of activities which include arts and crafts, gym games indoors on the basketball court, outdoor games on the courtyard lawn, walks along the dirt trail from the club, bliss classes, and tennis time on Wednesdays (non-tennis weeks) as well as options to dress up throughout the week.  

We will offer three tennis camps this summer. Tennis camps outside of the normal camp activities will also split kids into two groups based on age and skill level and offer an hour on the tennis court in both the morning and afternoon with a tennis pro and tennis staff. 

Every afternoon, weather depending, camps will go to our outdoor pool for swim time.   

Life jackets will be available.

Unregister/Cancellation: Follow the instructions for registering for camps. Select Unregister

Cancellation Policy: You must cancel a camp by Sunday at 11:59pm, a full week before the Monday start of the camp week to receive a refund.  If you cancel any camp after May 31st, you will be charged a $25 cancellation fee.

                Non-Members: $315 

Tennis Camps (65 max): Members: $265

Pick Up/Drop Off: 

  • Drop off and pick up will occur in the smaller parking lot area to the left of the club main entrance if you are facing the club. It is located in the small parking area by the outdoor pool entrance. 

  • From our parking lot entrance stay to the left and drive all the way towards the outdoor pool. 

  • There will be staff located here no earlier than 8:50am. 

  • All parents or guardians dropping off and picking up children must come to a staff member to sign them in and out. 

  • If you still have not filled out the online waiver for your child by the first day of camp, you will need to fill out a paper copy at drop off.  A link will be sent for the waiver in the registration confirmation email. 

  • If you arrive after 9:15am or after 3:20pm, please park in the main parking lot, go through the main entrance and the front desk staff can direct you to the Youth Room. 

 

What to bring to camp daily: 

  • Sunscreen (best applied before camp and then we will help with reapplication for the afternoon if needed) 

  • Lunch 

  • Snack for morning and afternoon 

  • Water Bottle 

  • Closed Toed Shoes or sandals with straps and able to run in 

  • Swimsuit - everyday (and life jacket if needed, we also have some for borrowing upon request) 

  • Towel (we do have towels available for use if you’d rather not have your child bring one) 

  • Tennis Racquet daily for tennis camp weeks and on Wednesdays on non-tennis weeks if you have one.  If you do not have one, we have plenty of loaner racquets to borrow.
