ACB Run Club Water Running Demo

Join Sarah Persha and ACB Running Club coaches for this fun and challenging demo class.

This 40 minute class will demonstrate the benefits of water running form in the water medium for maximizing the properties of water.  In upright form, with water shoes, water runners push the density of water resistance unlike swimmers, who minimize the resistance of the weight of water.  Research shows that runners, as well as other athletes, can use water running to:

  • reduce inflammation
  • increase range of motion
  • decrease overuse injuries
  • increased load on alternate muscles
  • minimize joint impact for needed alternate exercise days
  • speed recovery from high impact day

Free for ACB Members - Non members are $15 dollars per participant.
