My goal is to provide you a challenging, supportive, and fun environment while we work
towards achieving your goals.  We are all at different fitness levels. It is my job to educate you,
inspire you and provide you the tools you need to continue your journey to a happier
healthier lifestyle.  

 

Certifications: 

• Certified Personal Trainer & Group Fitness Instructor - American Council on Exercise

• Certified Spinning Instructor - LeMond RevMaster

• Yoga Alliance 200-hr. Certification

• CPR, AED and First Aid Certified - American Red Cross.

 

Education:  

B.S. in Exercise and Sport Science, University of Oregon.

 

Areas of Specialization:

• Using cross-training techniques for body composition and general fitness improvement

• Body awareness and muscular balance for injury prevention

• Core strength and integrated movements

• Incorporation of yoga based exercises for flexibility and balance.

 

Personal Accomplishments:

Over 20 years in the fitness industry has led me down some interesting paths! 
To mention a few; Aerobic and power lifting competitions, Group Fitness Master
Trainer and choreographing exercise videos.  I am a certified prosthetist, having worked
in the medical field with rehab patients and artificial limbs. My biggest personal
accomplishment has been my ability to maintain a wonderfully active life while battling
rheumatoid arthritis.

 

Hobbies & Interests:

Downhill skiing, mountain biking, water skiing and camping. Having wine with girlfriends
and family time with my husband, son and dog make my life complete!
