Training Philosophy: Provide an encouraging atmosphere for individuals who are interested in exercising to improve their health, strength, flexibility and balance. I begin clients at their base level of skills and guide their progression with consistent practice of a variety of exercises.
Personal Motivation to Exercise: My training regime goes hand-in-hand with my own life’s pattern. I became serious about my exercise program upon retiring after 39 years of teaching. I enjoy hiking, biking, kayaking and skiing. My motivation to exercise regularly is to keep my body strong to enjoy outdoor sports for many years in the future.
Current Fitness Regime: I attend a variety of exercise classes at the ACB and have personal training once a week to keep me focused on personal aging issues. I, also, design my own home program to practice each day.
Interests: Kayaking, skiing, biking, cycling, swimming, sewing and reading.
