Middle School Program



Our Middle School Program allows Athletic Club of Bend members who are in middle school (and are not yet 14) access to the Club from 3-5pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays; and 1-5pm on Wednesdays.  Details for this program are discussed during a mandatory 20-30 minute orientation.  This program fills up quickly so please attend an orientation as soon as possible.

Participants must be active members of the Athletic Club, attend the orientation, and turn in completed paperwork before they can participate in this program. New participants are required to attend the orientation with a parent. Returning participants do not need to bring a parent.


All Orientations are drop-in. No RSVP necessary.

Mondays 9/12, 9/19 and 9/26 3:15pm and 5:30pm

Tuesday 9/13, 9/20 and 9/27 3:15pm and 7pm

Wednesdays 9/7, 9/14, 9/21 and 9/28 1:15pm and 3:30pm

Thursdays 9/8, 9/15 and 9/22 3:15pm and 5:30pm

Fridays 9/9, 9/16, 9/23, 9/30 3:15pm

Fundamental Building Blocks
to Strength Training
Join Katerina Ferraiuoli for this course that will focus on building technique and overall strength to perform basic movements, while improving mobility and stability.

Basketball League registration forms will be available August 17th at the front desk and on our website.


Masters and Open League will start the week of September 12th. 


Pickleball Players 


We have lots of options for you this coming Fall and Winter:


1. Pick-Up Play by Rating Level will return to weekday mornings starting Monday, September 19th, please see club schedule for days and times.


2. Skills Clinics with Lisa Palcic will return in October on Tuesday evenings from 4pm – 7pm sign up at the front desk beginning Sept. 19th


3. Pickleball Strength & Conditioning with Sean Weckel: Gain an edge over the competition with this energetic, Personal Trainer led small group class that will focus on injury prevention along with strength and coordination for Pickleball players of all levels.  It will include assessments and conditioning that will help take your play to the next level and minimize injury risks.  Be ready to move better and faster.  Class will begin in October and is limited to 8 participants. Class dates and times TBD.



Indoor Pool Closure


Beginning September 12th, 2016 the Indoor pool will be closed for refinishing the pool deck, updating the lighting and painting. We are very excited for these  changes!


The outdoor pool will remain open for your swimming pleasure.









Psycho Cycle Fall Equinox


Join Lori, Suzanne, Karyn and more of our wonderful cycling instructors for this spin, unlike any cycling class, the object of this 45 minute session is to have fun and lose yourself on the saddle. Expect a crazy combination of short segments of light resistance training, sprints and boxing all while spinning to the beat of the music.

MBSEF Thrilla Cyclocross series 


ACB is happy to once again host the annual MBSEF Thrilla Cyclocross series again this year! So, for the next 5 Wednesdays, access to the Club from 3pm on will be limited to the main entrance off of Reed Market. Riders have been instructed to park in the East Parking Lot, not in member parking. We hope this doesn’t cause you much inconvenience.

Youth classes will be for middle school ages-if the child is on the family membership the class is free, if not on the family membership the cost is $10 per child for the class.



Youth XFusion- Monday and Wednesday 3:30pm-4:15pm in the gym starting September 19th for youth 10 plus years of age (free for youth on family membership, $10 for non-members)


Youth Bliss - Tuesday 3:30pm-4:15pm in the downstairs GEX studio starting September 20th for youth 10 plus years of age (free for youth on family membership, $10 for non-members)


Youth Yoga - Thursday 3:30pm-4:15pm in upstairs studio starting September 22nd for youth 10 plus years of age (free for youth on family membership, $10 for non-members)


Youth Cycling - Friday 3:30pm-4:15pm in cycle studio starting September 23rd for youth 10 plus years of age (free for youth on family membership $10 for non-members)


Sapling Yoga - Wednesday 2:30pm-3:15pm in downstairs GEX studio starting September 21st for ages 5-9 years old (free for youth on family membership, $10 for non-members)

More cycling classes coming in October. Cycling Winter Training will start back up in October Tuesday and Thursday evening 5:30pm-6:45pm and Wednesday and Friday morning 9:15am-10:30am.
