Amber Clark

Licensed Massage Therapist. LMT# 10629

With over 15 years of experience, Amber's expertise in teaching and practicing the art of massage ranges from Deep Tissue Sports Massage and Myofascial release, to Neuromuscular Therapies and Therapeutic cupping. Her main focus in bodywork is geared toward working with amateur and professional athletes, as well as educating clients on the benefits of recovery and self-care. She moved to Bend from Portland, OR in 2008 to enjoy the outdoors and expand her teaching practice at COCC. She started her own business, Cupping Dynamix in 2009, to teach cupping workshops with the hope of sharing and bringing awareness of this ancient art to other health care practitioners. As a 10+ year teacher at Central Oregon Community College, Amber's dedication to her students and their educational experience is held in high regard. Her continued pursuance of knowledge concerning the body—its symmetry and structure - is not only evident in her practice and her teaching but also in her way of life.

For her, the human body is a fascinating machine, a genuine work of art. She wholly believes and embodies the sentiment that true power comes from within, and she sees the power of touch as a healing and sustainable way to connect with the self and realize one’s full potential.

She started integrating cups into her Therapeutic massage practice in 2006 and found the benefits to be truly remarkable. She felt compelled to gain a deeper understanding of the true nature of cupping and to explore the history in which it came from. She discovered new and resourceful ways to blend the ancient tradition with modern day therapeutic methods for phenomenal results.  OR lic#10629
