Who has to go to orientation?
ALL students who wish to participate in the Middle School Program must attend an orientation for the 2019-2020 school year. If they are new to the program, a parent or guardian must attend the orientation as well. Returning students do not need to bring a parent to the orientation, but a parent will need to sign off on some paperwork prior to their child’s next visit.
My kids just need to hang out for an hour before dance/tennis/swim team/etc. Do they still have to do the orientation?
Yes. If your child is at the Athletic Club of Bend without an adult outside of the specific hours of their other program, they need to attend the orientation.
Where do we go for orientation?
Check with the front desk when you arrive. The orientation will either take place in Bistro28, the café, the courtyard, or the youth center.
My kids are just getting a snack in the café. They don’t need to be with an adult or part of a program right?
Children under the age of 14 need to be accompanied by someone over the age of 16 throughout the entire club, including the Café – UNLESS they are part of the middle school program or attending a class.
